FF Logan BeyFire is a handsome black purebred Arabian stallion.
Logan has a lovely long neck and long legs. He stands about 14.3 to 15hh. and has delightful “tippy ears”. He’s fit and well and his looks and pedigree show his potential to be a Sport Horse Sire for a variety of disciplines.
Logan foaled on the 24th April 1997 in Washington State USA. He was the result of breeding the mare Chantilly Bey to Desert Dark Fire +, both purebred black Arabians.
I purchased Logan as 2 ½ year old and he made the long journey from Washington to Virginia. It took 4 ½ days and Logan raced off the transport as though he had come from next door. Thus all of Logan’s ancestry lies in the USA.

BLOOD LINES
For those of you interested in Arabian bloodlines I can tell you that on his Dam’s side he has double Bask++ and Bey Ofir was his grandsire who was a full brother to Bey Shah and thus both sons of the legendary Bay El Bey++
On his Sire’s side he also has double Bask++ and a blend of Crabbet.
His Sire, Desert Dark Fire+, was well known in his own right as he has a Legion of Merit from a successful show career and was a Sweepstakes Nominated sire for 2009. Dark Fire’s offspring have earned points in both Arabian and Open competitions in a variety of disciplines. These include Competitive Trail, Endurance and Dressage in Open competitions and including both Western and English Pleasure sections in AHA shows. In addition he had success in Halter, Stallion Breeding and Reining among others!!! Logan is also Sweepstakes Nominated in USA.
It is interesting to see that even this year Bay El Bey++ figures in a large majority of pedigrees for the Arizona Scottsdale Arabian show in the Stallion Breeding section.
For those of you interested in the Maternal Grandsire effect, Logan’s Maternal Grandsire (Bey Ofir) was both an English and a Western Pleasure Champion.

About 1 ½ years after I bought Logan we moved to NZ. Circumstances just 18 months after I moved back to NZ made it impossible for me to promote Logan as a breeding stallion. He has no progeny as yet as I was not prepared to use him for breeding until I was set up to do this professionally. Now in 2010 I am in a position to offer Logan’s services at stud.
Logan fresh or chilled semen is available for the 2009/2010 season New Zealand wide.
Semen can be flown from Palmerston North airport to the South Island or can be couriered or flown in the North Island.
Logan is a suitable sire for Purebred Arabians and for other breeds. Live foal guarantee.
My Vet says his heart rate is very low and he would be suitable as an Endurance Sire.
